DATA MANAGEMENT
Study-specific data of different Projahnmo projects are mostly using electronic data capture system (Android App or PC version). Only few data are collecting paper-pen version depending on study requirements. At present we are capturing MWRA (Married Woman of Reproductive Age) surveillance data using android App and planning to start demographic household surveillance from 01 Jan 2022. All hard copy data collection forms are kept in locked filing cabinets which are only accessible to authorized study personnel.
Data capture systems are designed using Android studio, MS .NET (C#) and MS SQL Server. All computers and tablet PCs used for data entry are password protected. The study databases are stored in dedicated and password protected servers housed in PRF offices in Sylhet and Dhaka. Access to the server is restricted to the key personnel only. Regular data backup of all the study-specific and surveillance data are ensured by the data manager.
