STUDY LABORATORY
Projahnmo Lab located in Projahnmo Research Foundation coordination office at Sylhet with a mission to the highest standard of fundamental and applied scientific research into public health. The Laboratory is focused on the collection, processing, and storage of various types of biospecimens including blood, urine, placenta, stool, saliva, as well as breastmilk samples. There is an in-house state-of-the-art advanced imaging facility including blood culture using BACTEC; CSF biochemistry and culture; and antibiotic sensitivity. The reference laboratory of PRF Study Lab located in icddr,b, is equipped with molecular testing including next-generation sequencing. The Laboratory has unprecedented opportunity to train up the researcher on advanced bioinformatics with the collaboration of several international institute including Aga Khan University, Pakistan, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, USA etc. PRF Lab establishes a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment that will capitalize on these exciting opportunities.
