Meeting with Stakeholders at Zakiganj for the BRANCH Study Opening Program
Meeting with stakeholders for the BRANCH study opening Program was held on December 9, 2024, at conference room of Zakiganj Upazila Health Complex, Zakiganj.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. A.S.M. Ashraful Islam, Deputy Director and Head of Sylhet Field Operations at Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF). The Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Zakiganj attended as the chief guest, while Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Abdul Ahad, the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer (UHFPO) of Zakiganj, participated as the special guest. Representatives from various sectors of the Zakiganj community, along with other key stakeholders, were also present.
During the event, Dr Ashraf provided a visual presentation highlighting Projahnmo activities in Zakiganj and presented the newly launched WHO coordinated study in Zakiganj titled “Nutritional Management of Growth Faltering in Infants Aged Under Six Months in Asia and Africa” (BRANCH).
