PROPS Study Update Meeting held at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of JRRMCH
Sylhet, 14 October 2026: —Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) organized a follow-up meeting on the PROPS study (Efficacy of Probiotic Supplementation in Preterm and Small for Gestational Age Infants) on 14 October 2026 at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College Hospital (JRRMCH).
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department (HOD), Dr. Namita Rani Sinha, and physicians from the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. The team discussed the study objectives, procedures, potential benefits, and follow-up plan. The physicians showed keen interest in the study and expressed their willingness to support the study activities and facilitate future collaboration.
PRF Deputy Directors Dr. Md. Daniel Hossain and Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam, Project Manager Dr. Md. Saimon, Study Physician Dr. Tamsasul Farha, Research Assistants (RAs), and other team members attended the meeting.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share updates on the PROPS study, address relevant issues, and strengthen collaboration between PRF and the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of JRRMCH for upcoming study activities.
