Debriefing Meeting on PROPS Trial Monitoring Visit by the Likak Team
Sylhet, 22 October 2026: —A debriefing meeting on the five-day PROPS trial monitoring visit by the Likak team was held on Thursday at the Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) Sylhet office.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shahidullah , Principal Investigator of the PROPS trial, and Dr. Salahuddin Ahmed, Executive Director, Scientist, and Principal Investigator of the PROPS trial. The visiting Likak team members, Mévidette Elmadani, PhD, Clinical Trial Manager, and Dr. Elisabeth Diallo, also attended the meeting. Project Manager Dr. Md. Saimon, Deputy Director Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam, Deputy Director Dr. Md. Daniel Hossain, and other senior staff members were also present.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Salahuddin Ahmed welcomed the Likak team and thanked them for conducting the monitoring visit and reviewing the ongoing PROPS trial activities.
During the meeting, the Likak team presented the findings from their five-day monitoring visit. The team expressed overall satisfaction with the trial activities and shared some minor findings that require attention and follow-up.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shahidullah delivered the closing remarks, thanking the Likak team for their monitoring and feedback. He also mentioned that the team would give priority to addressing the findings and take the necessary steps to strengthen trial activities.
