Dr. Ahad Mahmud Khan
Dr. Ahad Mahmud Khan is a public health professional with a remarkable educational background. He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College, followed by an MPH in Epidemiology from the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine, Bangladesh. Driven by his passion for public health, Dr. Khan pursued a PhD in Global Health from The University of Edinburgh, UK.
His research expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, with a primary emphasis on maternal and child health. Since 2015, he has been actively involved with Projahnmo, contributing to various research projects such as PCV, EMPIC, and Digital Auscultation. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Scientist and Deputy Director within the organization.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Khan gained invaluable experience working with renowned organizations such as icddr,b, MSF Holland, and BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health. His contributions to the field of public health are widely recognized, and he has amassed an impressive collection of over 20 published works in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Khan's expertise and commitment continue to make a profound impact on the advancement of public health.
