Dr. Md. Daniel Hossain joined Projahnmo Research Foundation as Deputy Director on 1st June 2026.

Dr. Hossain has completed his MBBS and MPH from reputed institutions in Bangladesh and has over 27 years of experience in public health. His areas of expertise include project management, program implementation, research, community mobilization, and monitoring & evaluation.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Hossain has collaborated with several renowned national and international organizations, including Mitra and Associates, CARE, icddr,b, EngenderHealth, UPHCP, LAMB, CLP, and PHD. Notably, he previously worked with Projahnmo in Zakiganj and Sylhet from 2004 to 2010, contributing significantly to field-level program implementation and research activities.

Dr. Hossain’s leadership and extensive field experience are expected to further strengthen the foundation’s mission in advancing maternal and newborn health.
